Details of govt. effort to end crisis

Kathmandu, 29 June: In the first government bid to break a prolonged political impasse, Deputy Prime Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachedhar held separate discussions
with UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal and NC Vice-chairman Ram Chandra Paudel.

The government team and two leaders discussed issues that are aggravating the political crisis, including integration and resettlement of 19,000 Maoist combatants.
