DRAFT SCHEDULE TO PREPARE CONSTITUTION
BEING COMPLETED FRIDAY

Kathmandu, 1 Dec.: The meeting of sub-committee chaired
by Chairman Prachanda to resolve differences on themes to be
incorporated in a proposed constitution met Thursday and
decided to draw up a schedule by Friday to proclaim a
constitution in the next six months.
The sub-committee under the main constitution drafting
committee chaired by Nilambar Acharya met Thursday after
the constituent assembly (CA) tenure was extended for the
fourth time—this time by six months after 30 November.
The assembly faces dissolution if a constitution isn’t
promulgated by May 2012.
The Prachanda committee has representatives of major parties.

Kathmandu, 1 Dec.: Authorities have become cautious after
tracing $200,000 in a Everest Bank account number of a person with Nepali/ Indian citizenship, Sachen Gautam reports in Naya Patrika reports.
The person’s surname is Hajai.
Nepali authorities said for the first time themney is linked to terrorist activities.
Indian embassy forwarded the name of the person who transferred the money, his background ad his bank account number to the concerned Nepali agency.
