THREE KILLED, ONE HURT IN TRUCK HIT

THREE KILLED, ONE INJURED IN HIT BY TRUCK

Kathmandu, 30 Nov.: Three persons were killed and one was injured Wednesday when a truck ran over them at Paswalpur-3, Dhanusha, on the Mahendra Highway.
A man and a woman on a cycle were killed instantly and a injured woman died while undergoing treatment at hospital.
A wounded man is being treated for serious injuries.

UN CHIEF SAYS HE’S ENCOURAGED WITH CONSENSUS AND ASKED ALL TO IMPLMENT COMMITMENTS

Kathmandu, 30 Nov.: UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said
Tuesday he’s encouraged by consensus among political parties
and asked all to fulfill their commitments.
“The Secretary General is encouraged by the growing consensus amongst the political parties in Nepal to take the peace process forward..
“He notes the decision taken today [Tuesday] to extend the Constituent Assembly by six more months and calls on all concerned to fulfil their commitments,” a
statement issued by his spokesman in New York said.
