PARTIES GET ANOTHER DEADLINE EXTENSION Kathmandu, 30 Dec.: President Ram Baran Yadav Sunday extended a deadline for the seventh time until 9 January 9 asking political parties to agree find a consensus candidate to replace Baburam Bhattarai who is reluctant to quit after 16 months in office. The deadline was extended after consultations with leaders of UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF). MORE.
