THREE CHINESE ARRESTED] Kathmandu, 31 Dec.: Three Chinese nationals have been held along with five kilograms of red sandalwood on Monday, RSS reports.. Police arrested the trio while they were heading to China on a China South Airlines aircraft from Tribhuvan International Airport. Following the arrest, they have been handed over to the District Forest Office along with the confiscated red sandalwood for further action, the Office said. Nnnn SC STAYS GOVT. AMNESTY DECISION Kathmandu, 31 Dec.: The Supreme Court on Monday issued an interim order in the name of the government staying its decision to withdraw a murder case, RSS reports. A single bench of Justice Damodar Prasad Sharma ordered the government not to with the murder case filed against 13 persons, including Hridaya Narayan Kamat of Majhaula VDC in Siraha district for murdering Bhola Saha of the same locality. Rather, the government has been ordered to appear before the SC with a written response within 15 days on the case. The government, on December 14, had decided to withdraw the murder charge registered against different 13 persons. Against this decision of the government, Khushi Lal Yadav, son of the murdered had filed a writ petition at the SC on December 26. Thirteen persons including Hridaya Narayan Kamat had killed Paltu Yadav and Beltu Yadav over a minor dispute on August 1, 1990. nnnn
